Yes, coming from Anchorage it will be on your right after you cross the Caribou Creek Bridge. We find the Air 2 S Batteries do take a hit at -20 but they hold up better than our fingers. LoL

Hello akdrone, The biggest wayside on the south side of the climb toward Longrifle is a great launch point and that's what we used. Thank you for the comments. Enjoy your trip and happy flying. We are waiting for it to warm up a bit. -22ºF is just a bit uncomfortable.

In the Winter, hurricane-force winds are a big concern (not drone flying weather ;) Heavy snow measured in feet can also happen. Summers are mild by comparison and ideal for flying if you get your skills refined well enough.

Hi Neighbor is your bird an Air 2 or an Air 2 S?

The Sunlight was so white hot (although ambient was 25.5°F), most of the footage was taken at ISO 200 the latter part was on Auto. The Air 2S has a really great camera and solid platform to get the difficult shots.
