Sometimes in foggy conditions ice can form on the rotor blades, causing a loss in lift. It happened to me whilst flying an Aeryon Skyranger in freezing fog conditions. (air temp was -5c whilst the handbook stated it should be able to handle -30c)
keep an eye on your phone/tablet screen on power up/ takeoff, it will give notifications of anything wrong, in this case it should say "gimble overloaded"

I've only crashed my mavic 2 zoom once (first time flying it). I was flying it forward at low level and it clipped the grass and flipped over. (I guess the sensors cant detect the ground whilst at forward tilt) There was no damage, just covered in mud, I guess I was lucky?
