Two thoughts: They got a little nervous when you dropped down but showed no interest when you were higher. The quality of the digital zoom was pretty good, better than expected and I have an Air2S. Thanks for posting.
Hopefully most of us understand that, in ANY emergency situation, it’s important for drones to stay away unless deployed by the incident commander. Failure to do so can interfere with rescue operations. Sorry if I’m preaching to the choir but some new pilots may need to hear this.
A couple of points… some of the guys that have responded above are highly skilled and have had much experience in windy conditions. I have a weather station sitting beside me, and I can tell you that a TRUE 25 mph wind is not something I would voluntarily fly in unless it was a SAR deployment...
