Its all laid out in Assembly Bill 239...............have to be over 250 feet in altitude above someone's home. And if you don't have permission it is considered trespassing.

In my state (Nevada) I'm not allowed to fly over homes unless I'm 250 feet or higher, unless I have permission of the property owner.

I know this might be expensive, but I would lawyer up......meaning hire a lawyer and see if a cease and desist order for harassment is possible.

I agree, but I just can't figure out how to get "comfortable" with my M2P over water or high trees. I could NEVER do what this guy did in the video. Just too much money that might be lost. And yes, I have the DJI Refresh on my drone, but you have to recover it to get some money or drone back...

Your procedure is exactly the same as mine.

I've seen some youtube videos that say the Smart Controller and the new Air 2S video lags badly on the controller.

I really like my Smart Controller, along with my M2P. The idea of not using my phone to operate my drone and the bright screen was the reason I got the SC. I'm hoping that if they ever come out with a new SC that they will give some sort of credit towards a new one. I doubt that will...

The airport manager should have just said he was calling the police and say they were trespassing and walk a way. I bet they would have left real quick.

I had no idea that there lots of problem with drone flyers, but now that I'm on this forum I read and hear how big of a problem it it. I'm worried that the FAA, local government will really crack down and my rather large investment (Mavic 2 Pro with Smart Controller) will be an expensive...

I'm pretty new at drone flying, so I use RTH quite a bit. I'm going to practice flying it back without RTH to get more comfortable with flying. I saw a YouTube vid that railed against using RTH all the time.......it did make some sense so I'll try to use it less.
