I’m sorry to report that I never found solution and was lucky enough to be in return period. I returned and bought new — and only use DJI Assistant to update goggles now with no issues so far. When I reached out to DJI support (keep in mind about 4 months ago now), they did not troubleshoot...
No success. Kind of like many li-ion devices it seems to shut off but keep enough juice to indicate low battery etc. I waited a few days then charged a bit and still grey screen.
DJI sent me return label etc for replacement but may just take the sure bet and get refund from Best Buy. Then be...
Cyberpower678, I discharged yesterday (took far longer than 6 hours, assuming because static colorless screen). The battery indicator blinks green when I hit power button to let me now out of battery so going to let sit for now and see if it fully discharges. If any success I'll let all know...

Waiting to hear back from DJI support.

Hello all, received my goggles today 5/30. Activated and did one brief flight. Second flight got message about inconsistent firmware (was already running .700 on Mavic/controller, but think I may have had .600 on goggles). Message on DJI Go 4 said successful update, but my goggles lost...
