Personally I think a hard case is a bit overkill for the drone but I guess it depends on how you transport. I use the regular Fly More case that the drone came in and then throw it into my regular shoulder bag. The case is small but still big enough to act as a helipad when taking off. There's...
With Christmas and Black Friday coming up, I'm curious what you reckon to be the best gifts for MM pilots. Besides the obvious one being MM2. I'm thinking propellers is a good one since you can never have too many. Anything out there that improves the drone experience or simplifies our life?

This was the first thing that crossed my mind as well. My drone started drifting backwards every time I took off from the ground, until it climbed 1.5 m and stabilized. There wasn't much of a mark, but I replaced the propellers on one arm and then it behaved correctly.
Thanks for the suggestions. For now, I'll make use of buddb55s method of storing the flightlog in the video folder I create for the flight event. I also really like PhiliusFogggs suggestion on taking a photo and having the geo data there.
I'm an avid photographer and find it quite fun to look back at photos taken 10-15 years ago and see their GPS location on the built-in map in Adobe Lightroom. I have't done much video so my current system is just to create a folder and name it "YYYYMMDD - Description". For flight data, I've got...
One have to consider that DJI Refresh also cost an additional $39/2 to purchase. So in other words, it's $77 vs $60.
Probably not worth it to use up a Refresh repair.
At around 107 ft (1) it's starting to roll to stay in place. Likely due to wind. You continue to climb and the roll become worse (2) until it starts drifting away sideways.
After a while, you begin to descend and you can see (3 - colored red) how the roll is reduced. Imho the wind took the drone.
At the same time, the stick configuration on the video reports that he turned it hilmself. The drone suddenly turned left and a second later, it reports the command to turn left. Quickly after, the drone starts to turn right, and command input another second after shows turning right all the way...
It should be noted that this likely goes against two of the rules from DJI:
I'm curious what their response would be if you had an accident with the drone.
