I will be brief, yes most pilots do fly beyond vlos at some time but this is a situation where the pilots involved knew they were at risk of failing to return to base. Regardless of the risk to people below their flight route they flight was over highways and buildings. Irresponsible and dangerous!

Avoid it like the plague, mine was splashed over for seconds and defied all efforts at recovery. After distilled water washing numerous times and drying for a long period in silica gel the electrics showed signs of salt water corrosion.

Quite pleased about that, they were just not going to want us around leisure flying.

Done a little flying over water around steetley pier near hartlepool, some dry runs over beach to empty my reel of 200m of line, a couple of dropping trips over water so far ok, awaiting tests in anger.

Also County Durham waiting for wind to settle so I can try my new bait and weight carrier for a bit of beach fishing with my M2P.
