Sorry for late response. . . It seems the issue occurred when the battery was stuck on 96% and just turning off when trying to charge as I've explained. I bled the battery and it charged all the way back upto 96% then turned off. . . So the issue isn't it won't charge but will only charge to 96%...

My controller won't charge on its own. I have to hit the power button to make the screen turn on, insert the cable, it'll charge for less than a min then turn off and no longer be charging. Would this indicate a new port needs to be installed?

It does force you to do firmware updates. It gets to a point where it says it literally won't fly without them. . . Even if you use Assistant and downgrade, it is still broken and won't let you fly. I don't think dji would intentionally release an update that broke everyone's mavic 2's so they...

What are you even talking about?! If a company provides you with a mandatory update that unfortunately damages your product, they should held accountable. Updates are supposed to support the consumer

I did wait. I left it as long as possible until I was forced to update. There's been lots and lots of reports if thus specific update breaking drones. And DJI really don't give a ****.

Basically it got sent back to DJI who said it is the Gimbal Module that is broken. Though I belive the exact part is the Gimbal Motherboard. . . . I don't know exactly as DJI won't tell me the exact part that is damaged. . . They have not taken any responsibility for their firmware update...
