I overflew some cattle a few months ago and while they didn't stampede or seem at all alarmed they did casually migrate to a part of their field where my M2P wasn't.
I was plagued by slightly tilted horizons a while back and found that an in-flight adjustment helped more than a full-on gimbal calibration. I can’t remember exactly how to do it but if you google it you’ll find any number of helpful people with the instructions.

If you want to crop - I don’t think the extreme right section is contributing all that much. You might consider cropping out the portion that includes the rightmost cloud.
I heart the U.P. and travel across it on Rt 2 several times a year with occasional excursions to other parts. The Garden Peninsula is one of my faves - Fayette in particular. I have hundreds of photos of it and would love to photograph it from the air but doubt that’s possible.

I watched the show religiously but don’t remember hearing the phrase, whatever it was, so this is all speculation on my part. It occurs to me now that “bony bear” could have been a corruption of “bon hiver”, in which case the OP and I were both right.
I do miss that show, that much is for sure.
