I am (sounds like the others are too) iPad mini 4. Usually within 48 hours from cached working and then not in my ventures. So... cache map works following outing (2 to 3 battiers) then next day no map for same spot. I will not be offended with a "your doing it wrong" reply. Thanks for the time...

I too have the same setup and use the same process with the same outcome. Watching this thread intently for the clever ones to point out the obvious.

Welcome Faceache - Auckland based here. I recommend keeping tabs on this forum as many items/issues you come across as a new pilot are answered by good experienced folk on here.

I have also gone from an S8+ to a secondhand iPad mini 4. I did try the mini in the arms to start with but found the angle for viewing vs comfortable flying position all wrong for me. Grabbed an arm held tablet mount with sun hood and have really enjoyed the difference. It will be a matter of...

Yes that does and actually makes for a better looking landing - just put her through all scenarios to make sure I understand her - it's a relationship thing lol. That is for your input!
