Welcome. I go to Kodiak every summer and have taken my Mavic 2 Pro for the last two years, before that just a good camera. It is so beautiful there. Looking forward to seeing some of your shots.

I have the same problem with swallows along our rivers. They nest in the cliffs and rock and seem to be protecting their territory. If I fly straight up they seem to stay lower but still have to land.
