Extreme vs Extreme PRO SD Card

For the mavic 2 pro that’s exactly how it works. The camera is 20mp. A 12 bit photo would end up with a 30mb file, since (according to the specs) it’s a 10bit camera, it ends up being roughly 20mb.

Extreme vs Extreme PRO SD Card

Not really too relevant either. The Mavic 2 Pro's camera is 5472×3648 which equates to a 20MP camera size. so at 1 shot a second, your still only writing 20MB/sec, a hyper lapse, I doubt your taking more than 1 shot every few seconds, so "pro" card still doesn't make a difference. As long as its...

Extreme vs Extreme PRO SD Card

they are basically the same card. they are both v30 rated cards, so that means they both have a absolute minimum write speed of 30MB/sec, which is all you care about. the whole "max write speed" of 40 on the extreme vs 90 on the pro is irrelevant, burst speeds are worthless on video recording.

    Changing ISO

I see what you're saying. I think you got a glitch. Look at your first picture, you are set to ISO 100 and 1/30 and your exposure was -3, which is essentially black. But when you went to ISO 100 and 1/30, your exposure suddenly goes to balanced (0) there's no way you gained 3 f stops by moving...

    Changing ISO

its a balancing act between shutter and ISO. Generally, if you are capturing something slow, slow down the shutter before upping ISO. This will let in more light, and will not produce grain, but you have a greater change of blur. Capturing fast motion? turn up the ISO before the shutter, this...

    MAV AIR Audio ??

totally pointless to have audio on a drone, the 80+ dB noise would drown out any other potential sounds. What audio would you want to capture from 200+ feet up?

Question about the 400 ft. rule

because, like most government rules and regulations, they are open to interpretation, and are generally unclear in relation to covering all different aspects like "what happens if im at 200 feet and fly off a cliff and am suddenly now 600 feet up?"

Question about the 400 ft. rule

RTH is a set value above your current zero point. So if your current elevation is 500 feet, but its where you took off from and your drone shows 0, and your RTH is set to 100ft. it will rise to 600 feet (or 100 ft above your zero point) before returning home. RTH can be dangerous is alternating...

Recommendations on a small indoor practice drone

I second (or third??) the Tello. Its cheap, very rugged, and its only like 80 bucks right now on sale. The Spark, I would probably not get just because its still got a set of very powerful motors that can slice and dice walls, appliances...you..the Tello is weak enough that it won't do any...

    Flying in Disney

but this isn't Disney fault. Its the way flight restrictions work and the FAA, they always have a radius that extend out from a point. Also, disney did complete their waiver to fly drones over their property, in WDW they already have a drone show and one will be used in DLR soon. see their TFR...

Can the altitude AGL update dynamically?

GPS Elevation Accuracy Test: Smartphone Apps vs. Dedicated GPS - "Hardware Many high-end GPS units feature a barometric altimeter in an effort to improve elevation accuracy, but truthfully it doesn’t make much difference. As one GPS company rep confirmed, a barometric altimeter is pretty useless...

    Slow sd card

the Mavic Air's bit rate is 100mbps / 8 (mb to MB) = 12MB/sec required. so basically anything V30 (printed on the card) or greater in the pic above.

Can the altitude AGL update dynamically?

we can argue this all day, but I can tell you I know for a FACT that GPS is used to assist in determine altitude, nothing is the result of a single setting. If you open up your images and edit the tags, you will see a exif tags that reference GPS pulled altitude and position. GPS Version ID...

Can the altitude AGL update dynamically?

this is a photo of a fairly modern (couple years) handheld GPS unit that I can guarantee is only using GPS to determine altitude, and the exact same spot on a top map. Essentially the GPS determined elevation is pretty spot on.
