I just sent mine from Boston 2 weeks ago and including shipping had it back in my hands exactly 8 days later (not business days). I was actually pleased with DJI this time. I don't know if everyone sends them to the same place but mine went to Texas.
You are completely correct. The MP with MPP props does not make them equal. I find my MP with the MPP was worse, excessive gimble vibration and slower against the wind. The MPP though very similar is designed for the lower RPM's and resonance that gets transferred to the gimble by using...
I agree completely and sometimes you need to work with what you have if you cannot afford what you want. That said, it is truly affordable to pick up an iPad mini 3 or 4 either used or refurbished. I mean if you can afford a $1000+ flying man toy (or woman toy) why not a $200 used or...
I would go iPad Mini 4. I too am an Android user. I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and it works, so does my Galaxy Note 8 but the app can crash sometimes, which is frustrating and dangerous for my drone depending on when it occurs. I use instead my iPad Pro 9.7". I likely would have gone...
I love my Mavic Pro and I do own the MPP props. I used them many times and they work fine, without a doubt they are quieter but they also cause gimble vibration and seem to cause the drone to move forward slower against wind. I don't own a MPP but I suspect the updated ESC's handle the props...
Yes, the iPad mini 4 is the best ad it fits in the RC arms without any additional brackets or holders. I use a 9.7" iPad Pro but it needs an adapter to work. You can pickup used or refurbished iPad Mini 4 for really great prices and many people speculate the iPad Mini will get a refresh...
I agree 100% and I have since gone back to the original props. No one seems to talk about the wind issue and I'm glad you brought it up. I also get a gimble vibration often with the low noise props. I will take a bit more noise for the better performance any day!
I think you are absolutely correct and that is the difference because I walked about a quarter mile from my take off location. I also tried tilting the AC as others suggested and I'm aware that this normally shuts it off.
Thanks
Hi Droners!
Anyone else living in the North Eastern United States knows that we have been hammered by snow storms recently. Because of this I have often hand launched and hand retreived my Mavic Pro when landing is not an option on the snow. Normally this has not been a problen for me and I...
That is really disheartening. Have you checked to see if the ribbon cable looks dinged up at all? Or made sure nothing like a stick of rock got Jammed up in gimble somewhere? Also do you have care refresh or just factory warranty?
I hope you get flying again soon
