    Is owning one drone enough?

If you are using your drone commercially the phrase “one is done and two is one” is very true. If you do not have a backup and your only drone does not function, you are done for the day. Upset client and no payment for your gig.

Mavic2 Pro real estate video-ideas for improvement welcom

When I share a 4K video I normally upload it to a google drive folder. The quality is not nearly as good as viewing it on my own computer (Mackbook Pro) with QuickTime. I guess this is because Google compresses the file, which for a one minute video is over 300MB. Can you recommend a better way...

Mavic2 Pro real estate video-ideas for improvement welcom

When I decided to post the video seeking some feedback, I saw that other members posted their videos via YouTube links. My 4K version of the one minute video is 304MB, so I thought it might be better to post a 1080p video with its smaller file size (131MB). For the realtors I work with, I always...

Mavic2 Pro real estate video-ideas for improvement welcom

Thanks for the feedback--very helpful. FYI, the house has no back yard per se; it is just the front and then the side where the tennis court is. I take your point about organizing the clips in a more systematic way so the viewer understands how the property is laid out.

I just did a version with fades between all the clips, but the fades got a little monotonous to watch, so I picked a few clips where they seemed to work well, and it seems to flow nicely. Thanks for the feedback.

Link is to a real estate video for home to be listed soon. Mavic2 Pro, ND16 filters, Dlog, sunny, filmed in 4K, but Youtube video is 1080, edited in Adobe Premiere. Ideas for improvement welcome. Thanks, Dave

    DJI FPV Simulator for all!

I’ve used the FPV RC with FPV FREERIDER simulator and it is much better than using my Taranis QX7. Sticks are softer. BTW, I much prefer Freerider to either Liftoff or Velocidrone. It is simpler and graphics are better, st least on my 2015 MacBook Pro. Only has 6 tracks/scenes, but they all...

Something new while flying in the cold!

I much prefer the larger screen of my IPad mini 4, but it has shut down many times in cold Chicago weather. I almost always use my iPhone 11 in cold weather and it has never frozen up yet, even in 32 F temps and wind gusts around 20 mph.

    Phone vs Tablet

iPad mini works well. Fits the RC perfectly. Phone is more reliable in cold weather. Make sure you have at least 5 or 6 GB free so VIdeo feed runs smoothly.

Posting photos of homes to Instagram

Thanks, no, I have never signed any documents of any kind for the realtors that I work for. I was not sure what you meant regarding the copyright for the photo, so I did a web search and found this article, which reinforces what you and others have said. I feel so much better now about this...

Posting photos of homes to Instagram

I normally have little or no contact with the homeowner. Often, they have already moved out because these luxury homeowners often rent somewhere else until their house sells; stay in their vacation home nearby; or they are wealthy enough they can buy their next house before needing to sell their...

Posting photos of homes to Instagram

Thanks for your reply. I post them to Instagram to help the realtors market the properties, and, yes, I do have a website. I just don't want to get sued by a homeowner for posting photos of his/her home on Instagram, and am trying to get a good understanding of the legal and ethical issues involved.
