After you get calibrated and are ready to fly:
Make sure when you take her up the first couple of times there is a lot of clearance around you i.e. trees, bushes, power lines, etc. I suggest an open field. Give yourself room for mistakes.. Keep it in beginner mode for the first few flights...
I can picture a solar panel pulled behind my mavic like the ad banners pulled behind airplanes.. Ha....
On a serious note: If I don't "hot rod" my drone , I can get pretty much the whole 27 minutes out of my batteries. Smooth flying and non-erratic stick movement seems to make it last..
I had a G5 and it worked great. I upgraded to the G6 and it gets so hot that it won't run or connect to any the programs (Litchi, Dj go, Harmony)
I tried connecting to the USB on the bottom of the remote with the same issue. My last update on the phone was May 25 and it is Oreo... Flustered....

I fly a lot of waypoint missions at night and I have learned to triple check my waypoint settings, my RTH settings and usually fly 30 ft higher than normal i.e. If your trees are 100 ft, my RTH and my cruising altitude would be 130 feet. Also I fly slower than I normally would in the daytime...
