i used clear silicone glue. worked fine. but the cable broke again.

Happy to report no extra to pay on arrival. Only took 4 days from China, and everything is in good working order.

The Mavic 2 is in the Argos catalogue but you can not buy it, no one knows why at Argos. Can anyone give me a link to more specifications and prices or where i can buy it in the UK. I wonder if there is a problem with the units. Many thanks.

It's highly unlikely the board is bad if there's no impact damage or water damage, and I would not turn anything on until everything is connected up. When the gimbal stopped working I assume you got the motor overload error and the gimbal slammed around, then that's a sure sign the ribbon cable...

It's the gimbal ribbon cable which has a small life span. I've had many replacements. My opinion is because the ribbon cable has to be folded a few times when installed, it will eventually fail through normal vibration. I got a full refund and got the spark. Spark is brilliant, but don't update...

Worked perfectly when I Ground tested it. Put it in the car. 8 hour car trip later the ribbon cable fails again on start up. I didn't crash the car and it was secured properly, with its camera bubble and expensive foam case. I think the cable has a certain life span on its movement, then fails.

It failed again.

I am done with the Mavic now, getting tired of fixing the ribbon cable, got the Spark with controller. No problems so far, in fact its brilliant for its size. I will be selling off 3 Mavic batteries, case, filters ect. I am on the Spark forum now. Goodbye and Good luck
