This has been a really educational post for me - Thank you for all involved; especially the OP even though clearly and understandably emotional. I'm sorry for your loss - but appreciate the opportunity its given me to learn from your experience.
I have one flight under my belt and nobody died. Successful mission!
Does anyone have any views on third party liability insurance? A friend of mine recommended Members Insurance - does anyone here have insurance or are you all running the gauntlet?
My assumption (based on zero experience) is that I don't want to go up too high. I would rather be 'square on' to things rather than looking up at them. Is that your experience too?
Thanks everyone - nice to meet you all - I've taken a lot of info onboard today. Now I need to relax with a nice glass of wine and dream about flying....
Only just joined the forum (hello!) and not even received my first drone yet... 5 days to go. But I am on instagram and I hope that my drone will give me a new way of looking at things. Ed Silvester (@edmund_silvester) • Instagram photos and videos
.... I suppose I will just have to wait patiently for the UPS man.
This will be my first drone. I'm a keen landscape photographer and looking forward to seeing things from a different perspective. Spent the day reading up and learning. Itching to get my hands on my Maveric 2 Pro.
