Do the goggles work with the DJI Fly app (Mavic Mini and Air 2)? Also what kind of real world battery life do they get? The IPS screen on the View 2 works better in daylight then the TFT on the View 1, also a matte screen protector does wonders for removing glare which helps overall.

Thanks! Yeah definitely going the home made route. I have a few extra tool bags around, I figured I'd rob a strap or two and rig something up. Yeah I've been pondering a sunshade, I have one for my phone, but there aren't even cases for this tablet let alone screen shade accessories. My current solution: find and purchase the umbrella hat. Would make me look cool as well.
