I have also watched 'hundreds' of YT on this subject. With latest firmware (.1000) I have settled on post edit with Photos (Mac) for stills and Resolve 14 for video with these settings: Camera: Raw and then other exposure settings 'like normal' Video: 4K (3840x2160/30p), D-log, 0, -3, -3, ND...

I have seen an updated YT video by Casey Farris suggesting taking footage in D-log for post edit with style: 0, -3, -3 should now be improved. There are, however, now an issue with retrieving flight logs. See thread: Access Flight Data after firmaware up data to v01.03.1000

Since my last post I moved my footage 1 notch up to 3840×2160 30p as there was only marginal reduction of capacity on the SD card as a result. No problems in iMovie then (either). However, I have now realized the need for more editing features and since moved to DaVinci Resolve 14. Looking for...

I lost my source video because I cleared the SD after transfer. Stuck with corrupt files. Going for a re-shoot, I'm afraid...

I hope you come right! I would really like to know if this is the same in your end. In the meantime you can connect the Mavic through the USB cable to your computer until you get another reader. Good luck

Dead right! I have tried SAME source file transfers by alternative means. The video on the SD card is actually allright - bloody adapter. I can reproduce the error reliably...
