Its finally fixed, good job DJI

I took back my Mini and traded up to the Evo from Best Buy today. Since it still has the video issue I did not have to pay a restocking fee. I am looking forward to an official firmware solution to the video problem. Hopefully it comes quickly!

I am probably going to take back my Mini to best buy before the last day to return because of the extended holiday policy. I was thinking of just waiting till the Evo 2 comes out and see how this effects pricing of the Evo 1 and other Mavic's. I really like that Autel does not have geofencing...

Thank you for pointing this out. The problem is DJI's fault and it is pretty shallow for them to say to just use a different player and semi-blaming the consumer for not having upper tier software to get good footage out of a lower tier drone. I have never heard of another camera producing...

That's such a horrible response from them. Its like they are shifting the blame on the users for playing their "amazing Mavic videos" on the users bad software (low level player??). It doesn't make sense because the majority of buyers for the Mavic Mini are not professionals and just want to...

If anybody without the distortion or with, can you please post your video resolutions? And can you also tell us if you have the FCC or the CE version? I want to see if the region has an effect.

If anybody reads this and if they voted that their footage is normal, can you please check the file data and see what resolution the 2.7k video is. The normal resolution should be 2704 x 1520 and this is standard 2.7k resolution found in other cameras. The data that other members who did have a...

My first drone's video had the additional six lines added as well. When I cropped it off the border was perfect and it was in the correct resolution. So both drones were adding the exact same extra pixels. So this really supports the theory of it being a software issue and not a hardware :)

This is a cool video and I think I see the same distortion. Yeah something is up for sure. I wonder when DJI releases the fix they can also tell us what is actually going one haha

Honestly a hawk could have attacked one of the motors, those are strong enough to break a motor easily but who knows haha

I will look at that footage and look at the exif data also and report back. The new drone has a straight line so it maybe a different but related problem ??
