In that case, I misunderstood the part of your posting when you wrote, _"everything is very small (I guess scaled down from an Tablet format) and fiddly and I frequently accidentally changed settings like altitude"_.
There should be no reason to change altitude if the mission has been created...
I wouldn't recommend programming flights with Litchi on the Smart Controller, for the same reason I wouldn't use it on an Android/iPhone/iPad: the web version ("Mission Hub") is the only good way of planning and testing a safe and effective route. Elsewhere (Litchi - "Unloved by its maker"?) I...
You can find discussion of the Mac version, and a source, here:

I said:
> I have the iPhone XS Max, and run DJI Fly for my Mini SE and Air (1)
when I actually meant, "I have the iPhone XS Max, and run DJI Fly for my Mini SE and DJI GO 4 for the Air (1)" I should also have added that I use Litchi with the Air. (The version of Litchi I have does not work with...
I have the iPhone XS Max, and run DJI Fly for my Mini SE and Air (1). However, I am paranoid about Apple updates breaking my FCC comms (I live in Europe) so I have kept iOS at 13.6.
@Dougcjohn suggests that @ratjr15's question may have been aimed at me, so...
1. I asserted that, for those people flying drones that need the DJI GO app, programming a Litchi flight to make a 50m radius circle around (say) a tree, whilst retaining the tree as the sole POI, will result in a...
Loved:
- brave flying
- the captured footage
- excellent editing
- presentation
Nothing brutal to say, but the only slight "downsides" for me:
- too long
- I don't happen to like the music chosen (but I rarely like anyone else's music either!); be brave and let us choose our own sound to view...
See here and here for clear failures in gimbal and yaw control using Litchi, using the Mavic Air 2S and Mavic Air. To an extent, these have been addressed by recent updates for Android. iOS users will have to wait.
The "jerkyness" can also occur on a DJI Go4 drone, and is most likely when the drone is some distance from the controller. This because even though the Waypoints have been uploaded to the drone, both the yaw and gimbal movements are transmitted when needed.
Litchi has attempted to overcome this...
Check you haven't been sold the European version on the Mavic SE. It has nothing like 1250m range; 300m is the best anyone could hope for. The Mavic SE in Europe has also managed to challenge all those businesses who specialise in tweaks for range.
This fix seems very beneficial to Apple! They have have chosen to value retaining the time between charges; in our case we would choose to value the maintenance of CPU performance. I also have the iPhone 6S Plus, and it was dedicated to running my drones. The longest I could ever need it is two...
@Dougcjohn
Agreed that the "Interpolate" function has been there for some time. However, its quality as a function has been reliant on a strong radio connection to the drone, even on drones that can store waypoints.
I can get something close to a perfect orbit, facing into the centre of a 50m...
@ratjr15 Thank you for posting this. It could certainly be good news for those of us with older drones and who run them from Android (it's Android only). I've got an iPhone, so I hope Litchi can get this working under iOS, since this appears to be about the drone rather than the controller...
