In our rural area there is a great possibility of medical evac helicopters. This does not come into play with terrain fires as we do not use aerial fire suppression.

I see a lot of great discussion here and I agree that there is a fine line between getting that great capture and interfering with the scene. After responding to scenes as a firefighter/medic I have seen my share of good intentions gone wrong. Rest assured I would not fly anywhere around...

I was a volunteer for this department for 42 years and when safe to do so I capture aerial footage of the fires.

I had an online chat with DJI, gave them my craft s/n and reemote s/n and they provided mewith remote ID # to enter at DRONEZONE. All is well.
