    Mavic Air 2 D-Cinelike Grain/noise at ISO 100

Definitely keep us posted! I have been having similar issues, and overall I'm pretty disappointed with the quality of my MA2 images & videos. I hate to send it back, but this thread makes me think it might be worthwhile.

Not Just Another iPad Question (Well, kinda.) Mavic Air 2 and Matterport.

I started poking around the other iPad options like the Mini, but then I have to figure out model variations, specs, and compatibility, price point, etc, and after a few minutes I get brain-fried. From what I can tell, there's not much advantage to the smaller size, other than it's easier to...

Not Just Another iPad Question (Well, kinda.) Mavic Air 2 and Matterport.

Thanks for sharing! I'm slightly concerned about the really large size (I'm admittedly klutzy), but from what I have seen everyone who has gone full-size loves it. And your set up looks really sweet, especially moving up from a phone screen.

I like the idea of brighter for sure. Florida sunshine is no joke. But now that I'm on this path, I really like the idea of a full-size tablet.

Fantastic - I never would have thought to look there. And it's good to know I would be future-proofed too.

Thanks mate! I know almost nothing about Apple, and that DJI list isn't very complete.

Not Just Another iPad Question (Well, kinda.) Mavic Air 2 and Matterport.

Yes, I'm in the market for an iPad. (I loathe myself for typing that!) I need a little help from the Apple Inclined People. After my phone glitched for the umpteenth time during a flight, I want something larger/brighter, without cell service. Normally, I would just get any compatible tablet...

Any tips for a super-smooth cinematic way to hand land?

Totally worth experimenting with. That's my general experience too, but it's good to have confirmation that others have had a similar experience.

Any tips for a super-smooth cinematic way to hand land?

That's worth experimenting with! I should clarify that the sequence starts airborne, then transitions to handheld about 1/4 of the way through the planned shoot (tight quarters with people), and we're trying to do it all as one continuous smooth shot.

Any tips for a super-smooth cinematic way to hand land?

It's surprisingly safe and simple, as long as you keep your hand flat until the props stop. I've done it a bunch, especially with my Spark, but I've never mastered a completely smooth no-bounce transition. But yeah, it's definitely worth having some healthy paranoia!

Any tips for a super-smooth cinematic way to hand land?

I'm shooting a video next week with a continuous shot sequence. I know the MA2 likes to bounce up on final approach, so I'm asking if anyone has tips or tricks for a perfectly smooth hand-land. The planned sequence is in Cine/Tripod mode. Cheers!

    Is my camera sensor flawed?

I just shot this, and this isn't the first time I've seen this problem. At maximum zoom (the second clip in this video), the image gets squiggly in the details. It's really noticeable in full-screen on a large device (TV - which is what I edit on). Look for the parakeet on the reflector in the...

    I need Help Please

I'm using my old phone - a 3+ yrs Motorola with a slightly cracked screen, and the phone body won't close completely. You'll have to Google it to death, but hit up your personal network and phone repair shops for older but still compatible devices. You might get something that will work for...

Air 2 My encounter with a gyrocopter

Only one of the most awesome modes ever! It's for video, and your frame rate must be 30 fps or lower. Then you can select an object and move around slowly until the camera locks on it. Then just fly! The object will stay in the frame exactly where you locked it no matter the position of the...

Air 2 My encounter with a gyrocopter

I got into it with the manned pilots in a different forum. I was complaining about manned aircraft, they were, of course, complaining about drones. We all know the rules. They have everything from 0 feet to Low Earth Orbit. We have under 400. Yet they still want to play in our airspace too...
