If you open the "Find my drone" function, doesn't it show the last known position of your Mini? Even if the battery is dead, the app will give you the last known position. Have you searched there? But of course, depending on what happened, if there were disconnects and such, it might not be...

Welcome Spiros! Sorry to hear about your loss :( But don't give up! Many of us loose their aircrafts, it's a part of the learning process. The Mavic Mini is so small and light, it is very sensitive to winds. So it is very easy to loose it when you fly, because it is so fun and exhilarating :)...

I have the same one, never noticed a drop in performance, but I figure there should be one, but hardly one that you will notice, if not flying very far away.

It sure can happen if the gimbal is angled somewhat upward, and winds are high, or even in sport mode. I've never worried about it.

Have you tried opening a flight in AirData, then check "Power" and then "Battery info"? Maybe that's what you're after? This is through a computer though, not from an app in a phone/tablet.

According to this video, the chinese firmware update is a mandatory one. Haven't been able to find the chinese release notes to verify, but according to the video, if chinese users don't install the update, their AC's will be bricked. Makes you wonder what changes they implement in the firmware...
