Yep, you are correct. It puts pressure on the cable otherwise. Not a good design. I just clipped the strap to the main base plate. It's not balanced, but it will allow for hands off if necessary.
For those who would like a way of switching out the MM mount for the Mavic and Spark without a special tool, here is my solution that arrived today.
The small screw is what comes with the MavMount, the larger is the one I ordered...
Not sure this helps, but best I can measure is 5 mm across thread top to thread top, and 8 mm long, from shoulder of head to end of screw. Keep in mind, the screws come with the MavMount.
When using Portrait mode in the CrystalSky 7.85 the image will not stay vertical like it does on my Mini 4. It flips on it's side and stays there, making it very difficult to do Pano shots. Has anybody else tried this yet?
Update: After spending 1 hour chatting with DJI, the only solution was...
I think you would be very happy with the 1000 nit version of the 7.85 in bright sunlight. Not sure the additional cost will buy you enough difference to justify. Plus, you will receive the 1000 nit version much sooner.
Ok, I figured out what you have to do to get rid of the popup keyboard so you can click on the start livestreaming button, you need to press the settings (middle) button on the side of the CS twice and the keyboard goes away.
While trying to use Livestream via Facebook I found I could enter a description using the popup keyboard but after finishing entering the description I couldn't figure out how to make the keyboard go away, which was blocking the enter button to start broadcasting. Has anybody got any suggestions?
You need to be more patient, these are not high volume items, they are produced on a per order basis if I'm not mistaken. You will be very happy with the product once it arrives so it's worth the wait :)
