I want to play around with some architectural images and video shot with the wide angle lens attachment to see what I need to do in post to correct the distortions. Ideally shots showing obviously curvature in both vertical and horizontal lines like the horizon.
Not necessarily on high resolution sensors. Depends on how the digital zoom is implemented.
Lossless or near-lossless digital zoom is achievable and the Mini 4 Pro already does it for photos shot in 12MP mode.

I tested this on the Mini 4 Pro and the 2x digital zoom is obviously less detailed in video.
Can anyone confirm this finding? I thought that both drones used the same sensor?
As I'm constantly traveling, this is happening in a different spot each time.
And like I said, it has happened on both the Air 2 and the Mini 3 Pro.
I'll do a re-pairing, but I doubt this is the issue as turning the drone off and back on again makes it connect to the controller just fine.
The controller is disconnected from the drone as the drone does not respond at all to any controller commands. The controller itself has no message saying it is disconnected from the phone.
Cable is also close to new.
This is not a controller-phone issue.
What I'm about to describe has happened twice on a Mavic Air 2 and twice on a Mini 3 Pro using the RC-N1 remote and the latest firmware and software at the time. This is out of hundreds of flights but it only takes one unlucky scenario to potentially destroy the drone.

I'm considering getting the Mini 2 to replace my Air 2 for international traveling because the Mini 2 will have less hassle with authorities than the larger Air 2.
When you shoot between the two, does the Mini 2 have noticeably worse dynamic range and less fine detail in photos and video? One...
*sigh*
I now remember more about why I chose the Anafi in the first place versus any DJI Mavic Pro.
The Anafi charges everything via USB, which vastly simplifies my backpacker lifestyle. I'm always traveling internationally and I now charge everything I own via USB QC 3.0 or USB-PD. GoPro...
I had a Parrot Anafi and one of the best things about it is that everything charges via USB-C.
I simply plug it into my little 12V USB cigarette lighter adapter or my USB ports on a laptop or power bank and I'm charging pretty quickly. I don't have to travel and backpack around with power...
How do the Mavics maintain controller connection? Do they use the same frequency as what is used for the video feed? Or does it have some sort of backup frequency just for controller use in case it detects interference on the original frequency? I recently talked to another drone pilot who says...
Compared to the Anafi, how is the Mavic better / more reliable?
I'm confused how the video quality of the Mavic 2 is the same as the Mavic 1. Isn't the Mavic 2 supposed to use a larger Hasselblad sensor and able to record greater dynamic range and 10-bit color?
Two months ago I bought my first Parrot Anafi. I've crashed two of them during this time due to no fault of my own and I'm thinking about moving to DJI.
I bought the Anafi because the video quality is very good (better than the Air) and it is half the size of the Mavic Pro, so it's excellent...
