Newbie struggling again. Been reading so much material it hurts now. I understand the published drone code once flying but unless you take off on land that you own you seem to be a bit restricted. Wherever I am going to take off from it seems to me I am going to need permission from the land...

General settings I set as imperial but when I look at mc settings still displayed as metric. Am I missing a trick here? Or is age getting the better of me?

Ideal weather for my first beginner flight. Hovering at max beginner altitude 30m taking it all in then suddenly seagulls circling quite close and showing interest. Panic set in but quite impressed with my manual RTH flying albeit all directions trying to remember the joystick configurations...
