the main reason i got the Air2s and retired the mini2 was because I fly against mountains in open areas where in spring/fall the winds are always in the 20s and the mini was just not stable enough. The air2 still gets moved a bit, for being the same wind rating its a very noticeable difference.

Well? How do you like it? I’m still grounded until Sunday night.. so nothing again until Monday morning. Next time I’ll drive the 30 minutes to a park as I’m right on the edge of the 28nm circle

It’s really really nice. I got one day with it but am currently sitting on the outer edge of the secondary no fly zone for Wilmington, DE so I’m stuck just looking at it until tomorrow night.

Thanks, that’s what I’m looking for too. I usually have an osprey talon when I hike and/or bike and wanted individual cases to make it easier to pack but still stay protected

Haven’t played with mastershot yet, can test tomorrow and let you know. I found out today that I live in the extended restriction zone of Wilmington airport when a “VIP” travels, so we will see how that works

You guys on the other side of the pond are in such a weird window where unless you are ok with a potential temporary drone the mini 2 is the only “new” option if you want to fly around people.

its there under transmitter power. Its a more powerful transmitter in the 2s and the reach specs at 12km vs 10

I'm just interested in how they handle the backward compat. Like, is the remote the same and it has OS3 built on but drop to OS2 with other remotes? Is the remote actually different?
