Another YouTube video confirmed (with real photos) the batteries were identical down to the label specs on them and they actually swapped them between drones.
Still don't know if Smart Controller might work either by dropping back ot OS2 or some sort of firmware update or if the regular controller, despite being the same model number is compatible.

Looks like this is basically the "AIR" feature version of the Mavic 2 ZOOM vs PRO which I'll bet is the reason they will continue to sell both AIR versions. Still can't decide which I should get. If they drop the price on the MA2 that might be decider for me. the The "photography" difference TO ME doesn't matter as I just do this for fun and find the Mavic 2 line is just too big for me.
