I LOVE THE MAVIC BECAUSE OF IT`S PORTABILITY. HOWEVER IN MOST PLACES WHERE YOU USE IT IE, BOAT,MOUNTAIN,CREEK,ECT ... YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO TAKE OFF OR LAND.

I was one of the first to recieve the Mavic and it had range issues. I emailed DJI and within 2 weeks of that email, I had a BRAND NEW MAVIC sent to me. Been havin a ball flying it now... I`m in Australia... Geoff
i wasn`t getting any range, 500 metres at best. Also loss of gps signal. It went a bit haywire on a "return to home" as well. Had to take over it to land... The replacement is GREAT but.

I live in Australia in Townsville and was one of the first to prepay on the release of the mavic.And one of the first to get it... As they said in the original release "FIRST IN , FIRST SERVE" anyway mine was faulty....
Long story short, I contacted DJI Support and a lady there named "UNA SONG"...
My "REPLACEMENT) Mavic should be here today or tomorrow. Total Time * TWO WEEKS *
They used their centre here in Australia to test to see if Faulty. Determined it was. Sent new drone. TNT dispached this last Monday.
You replied on my thread.... I sent my screenshots too DJI and they paid to have it sent to a repair centre here in Australia and they have now sent me a replacement that should be here soon as it has been sent already...
