    Hi there from Bristol UK

Hi Paul, Welcome to the forum. I live in Brighton, Michigan USA and fly several drones. Three Phantoms and a Mavic Air 2. My son in-law, Rob Schmidt lives in Porlock UK and is the owner of Greencombe Gardens. He has a Mavic drone purchased a couple years ago but has never really flown it. Lack...

    Moisture detected in USB port

I had this problem constantly with my Samsung Galaxy S8. Every time I plugged it in and started the app I would get the Moisture warning. The solution that worked 100% of the time was simply to shut my phone down and power it up again.

DJI Fly and android 12 dev preview.

I just got a new Samsung Galaxy S21 running Android 12. I tried every version of DJI Fly from 1.3 to 1.5 and none of them would run. Then I found this link to a new beta version that works! Here is the link: https://service-adhoc.dji.com/do ... 4-825f-d94344385628

    Moisture detected in USB port

I have the same problem with my Mavic Air 2. Almost every time I plug my Samsung Galaxy 8 into my controller and turn on the controller I get the moisture warning on my phone. My work-around is to simply turn the phone off and on again. Then it always works with no more warning.

Same spot take picture different time auto

You can just use the Go Fly app and do Time Lapse Waypoints and save the waypoint mission. Then save the individual photos for putting together your "same place" photo comparisons.

    When to change props

I've been flying my MA2 for 10 months with the same props. They've never touched anything but air so they're pristine. I check them before every flight and there's no reason to change them unless they encounter an object while spinning and get chipped or cracked.

    Air 2 Indian Summer

Here's a video I made of my son's hay operation in Brighton, Michigan. He was unloading 15 tons of round bales from a flatbed delivery truck and I got my MA2 up in the air to record the work he was doing. The bales weigh 800 lbs. apiece and he was using the Bobcat to unload them and place them...

    Waypoints without hyperlapse

Using my Mavic Air 2, is there a way to use waypoints without using hyperlapse? I would like to store waypoints around a construction site and film the progress daily without using hyperlapse but shooting straight 24 fps video and still shots.

    Flying in the cold

If you warm your drone up inside your car before bringing it into the house you won't have a condensation problem. Your car cabin has very low humidity because the heater drives out the moisture. On the subject of battery temperature, I arrived at an event I was supposed to shoot with my drone...
