You will not damage anything if you replace the sensors. Just be careful because they have a pretty hard glue attached. I used my soldering gun to soften the glue before I removed it.

I've done it once but I replaced the whole sensor assembly from the front. This was working for me. You always can message DJI support to ask about the procedure to follow for calibration. I remember a discussion about this and DJI didn't say you have to send the drone for calibration to them.
