    What if question...

The Spark doesn't require you being logged in anywhere?

    What if question...

Ok thanks, I know what I have to do now. Unfortunately, I really can't remember how bad the glitches used to be in .700 but I'm sure they weren't too annoying. Are you running .700?

    What if question...

Ah yes, I forgot about that. I thought they now force you into using the latest FW no matter what by downing the drone until you have upgraded. A dreaded situation when you are out and about in the wilderness since you never know when they are coming up with an update! It seemed to me that it...

    What if question...

Looks like there is a timeout function involved. Well that's not good!

    What if question...

LOL! But you made an interesting point with being logged in before the grid goes down. Theoretically the app should then keep you logged in, at least for as long as the app is running on your device. I mean, thinking of just the DJI servers being down for an extended period of time is probably...

    What if question...

Gentlemen, I was unable to find a clear answer to this question, especially in light of the last few rounds of FW updates. What people said in 2016 does not necessarily apply to us at the end of 2017. As we all know, we now have to be logged into our DJI Go account in order to fly. This can be...

    It's true, it WILL happen

Sorry to hear that. You just can't avoid these people. (Are they always guys?) I've recently had my first beach outing with the Mavic. I tried to find a spot with a bit of space round me and close to the water. I had to fly over one young couple, the dude appeared to be one of those protective...

    It's true, it WILL happen

Thanks for your empathy guys! Good to have this forum at hand. In the meantime, I have moved houses. New area, new neighbors and man am I itching to take a look at my surroundings from the sky! It would probably be fine just once but.. I better don't get into the habit. I always found...

    Mavik water crash

No expert but it's not looking good, sorry. I'd call support though and ask them if it's worth sending back for repair.

What is the best place to post video and watch in HD?

I second Vimeo. Currently trying it out myself, for unrelated work stuff actually but it seems ideal for aerial videography, too. Some of the best quality drone footages I have seen were on Vimeo.

    It's true, it WILL happen

This might do as a response to shut most people up but if somebody diggs their heels in the ground the situation might become more tricky, unfortunately. First of all, the FAA might easily be overruled on local level. It has only undisputed reign over 500f (which is why all we have from them are...

    It's true, it WILL happen

See that's the thing, I used to start from my yard and then shoot that thing up full stick to 250-300f as fast as possible so that nobody freaks out. I even tried night flying so that I would not disturb anyone but no, they are on my case. It's bizarre how they notice it that far up. People's...

    It's true, it WILL happen

Looks like it has finally happened. I've occasionally been flying from our backyard in the last few weeks. Since the landscape is obviously rather boring the sole purpose has been checking various camera settings, lenses, practicing smooth flight techniques etc. I like to be prepared before...

    Reducing Sharpness in Post

I just started delving into Powerdirector and Colordirector. Looking good. Haven't quite figured out yet why clips I'm trying to color grade from Powerdirector internally to Colordirector (there's a button in PD that opens the clip up and in CD) are always terribly yellow or orange and...

    Reducing Sharpness in Post

Ok late reply but since I have just envountered similar problems (sharpening & NR) I sadly have to confirm NOPE you can't do it in Filmora. Major, major flaw. I love the simplicity of it so I'm really ticked off by that. Premier then, I guess...how annoying.
