    Someone will be hurt if DJI doesn't change its Mavic 2 battery mounting clip

    A simple tug on the battery will save you battery from coming out. You also get a warning on your screen about the battery not inserted properly. Had this just before I was about to take off, pushed down on the battery and heard the click.

    I got 2.2km from mine last weekend, and had no issues, I’m on the latest firmware mp2 pro with SC, and in the U.K.

    I had mine out to 2.2km the other day in the u.k, I had no issues and full signal on my SC, was in open grassland following a river, I will try a full range test but more than happy with that.

    If a beginner buys this and gets into it they will progress to something bigger in the range, so win win for DJI. I have the mavic 2 pro, but would like one just for the novelty factor, and indoor flying.

    I found this as the settings icon has now moved. You can add different mavic 2 aircraft to the controller without having to resink each aircraft. [emoji106]

    Try formatting for sd card in the mavic before each flight. Sorted my issues.

    I bought a tello to fly there. I would not risk your mavic. I had 3 airport security all over it when I left, but all good.

    Those of you that Upgraded from the Mavic Pro.....

    Sold my MP to get the MP2. No reason to keep to, and the longer you hold on to the original the less it’s worth. Plus now got the smart controller.[emoji846]

    Try a full IMU calibration sorted my compass error all the time!
