You should work on your colour grading. It's quite easy to go from flat to a good contrast - Try changing the blacks and whites in the exposure settings first. That's what will get rid of the flat look. Then work on the colour. Of course you can just leave it on normal if you're happy with that.

D-cinelike gives you a better starting point if you're going to be doing you're own colour correction in post. It's a flatter image with more definition throughout. The 'normal' profile will give you a decent image right out of the drone, but then you're more limited to correcting in post...

Yeah, shooting manual mode and with an ND filter in snow (and most other occasions) is a must as far as I'm concerned. AUTO can just alter the exposure too much for me making a less pleasing video... Your video was in super bright conditions, I don't think there's much more you could have...

Interesting though.... I wonder if anyone has added DIY floaties to the bottom of their drone, just incase.... You could turn it into a float drone! Edit: Is see you can get a pontoon kit... That seems like a good option for those flying over water often.

Didn't initially go out to film for tilt shift, but it's a good area to film that sort of video. Would be better if vehicles are moving, and time lapse/ stop motion would work well also. We have sunshine in Ontario! No snow. So nice to get out and see the world in colour. Edited in FCP X...

If you treat the Mavic Air as 'another' option for video, you will probably be fine with it. Even if you could get a drone to track you from behind the whole way down a double black, it would soon get boring... Use drone footage, POV, stationary camera angles etc to make a sick edit once in...

Shame the building was so small.... Liking the effect of this one, I think the video quality looks really sharp here. Edited in FCPX and use the "Dew" video effect. Music from Soundclound. (Rambling for first 2 minutes or so)
