I do my video editing on a Mac mini and the codec FCP X uses is h.264, but youtube(google) does no longer support this codec for 4K, but vp9. See the video: Safari does support 4K VP9 and this how to enable it

Hello Greg, I don't think you can upload a 4k video to facebook, HD is the max (for my groups in the Netherlands). So I upload to my youtube channel, choose share and copy the code to my facebook group. May be different in the United States. Greetings, Hans
