I had a P4 Pro for 2 years and most of my flights were over water. Now I have the M2 Pro and have gone 4 miles out and back with no connection or video issues. I find the signal to be more stable over water than land.

If you want the strongest signal possible, fly over water. I fly over water most of the time and never have signal issues.

Thanks Old Man Mavic. I always hand caught my Phantom in the air which was easy. The Mavic is not so easy in doing that. I’m going to take your advice and use Precision landing if not flying on water.
