Does anyone know of how to root this or get a guide to it that is still online? I desperately want to root my CS so I can use it with a SEEK thermal cam. So far, all the links I am finding are old and gone.

This is a nice all in one solution they've needed for a while now, but I won't get it. I prefer my CS 5.5 with the standard controller with this set up. I want the extra battery life and the extra LCD for the telemetry.

This is my main reason why I won't get the smart controller. That dedicated LCD on the mavic remote is too vital to me. I love my set up with the CS 5.5 on the mavic controller.

I can afford it but it is not a smart purchase with my budget. but I have to keep myself going outside of my terrible job with hobbies so I don't mind the investment.

Crystalsky 5.5 and never looked back. Going CS UB for my inspire rig soon.

I'd imagine because it has a smaller install base and is not the top priority. Hopefully they get them all updated simultaneously soon.

I had issues after my first crash - my mavic gave false errors and flew oddly-because the mavic needed me to re calibrate the compass and IMU. Try to re calibrate everything after a crash and you should be good if there are no other issues with the craft.

i'm now thinking i need to open a drone repair shop and charge people who don't research $200-300 for "IMU calibration"...just run the calibration and call them in a couple hours. "oh yes, the calibration was very hard, very hard. the problem was up in the bundles...its a ***** when its bundle...

I believe the IMU can be re-calibrated in the DJI go Menu, no need to spend $ on it. I would not touch this Mavic at all.

It is android based and there are some issues with that. I use the crystalsky on my Mavic pro and my Osmo Pro camera. I prefer the CS to the iphone at all times except for if I want to Live stream anything. Can't do it currently with the CS and the Osmo, Ive never tried on the mavic.

I've used the Iphone 7 and the 5.5 crystalsky monitor. I prefer the crystalsky over the iphone except for Android's lack of live streaming on the CS.

Try rebooting your mavic and controller with the CS at the same time. Let them sync up together and it should default to your device in DJi Go. This happens to me a lot but I just have to restart.
