1. I don't know why DJI would recommend recalibrating the compass every time when there is no indication that it needs to be calibrated. The mavic/phantom would know if there was some type of magnetic interference as it can detect it and it can also detect if the compass needs calibration.

Don't calibrate the compass if it doesn't ask you to do it, even if you're 200 miles away from where you originally calibrated it. I know DJI recommends calibration every single time you fly but you're increasing your chances of a bad compass calibration.
You would expect more stability in iOS devices since DJI Go 4 was developed in iOS and ported to android. DJI Go 4 is not perfect in android. The latest .18 version crashed a lot especially in my Huawei ascent XT2 and .15 version seems to be the most stable.
On my iPad mini 4 DJI Go 4 has...
I can tell you that using an iPad mini with this remote controller is no fun. It's not well balanced and it's hard to hold. I ended up getting one of those Huawei ascend xt2 phones and it has been working out pretty well.
Thanks for verifying the image. I'm still new to the Mavic and I guess I read too bad stories about the camera that I convinced myself there's something wrong with mine. Also, another reason is that I see some of the images posted and they're super sharp.
Thanks Kilrah. But the sharpness is comparable to what you get from your mavic when shooting raw? The image looks pretty soft to me and I just wanted to know if that was the case with all raw images?
Hi All,
I took a bracketed (5) of this playground to test for camera sharpness and I was wondering if this is how it's supposed to look like?
The file is below and thanks for looking!
