    thanks for the answer but I live in China.... Common sense it's not their strongest suit (-; Also, if I flash my phone it will still be under warranty so why not my Mavic.

    same here, have to drive 10-15 min so I can fly my Mavic. wanted to cancel the NFZ but as far as I understand it will affect the warranty.

    To register in China you need to register via this website 无人机实名登记系统 - 用户登录 (need to translate the page). Very easy to register, takes about 5 min. enjoy
