Lol had to keep the topic and subject short. Also thanks for the link! But I'm afraid thier policies have been changing frequently and according to WestJet, I'm good but Cancun authorities could just take the drone. I've also heard some were forced to pay a VAT amounting to 6% of drone cost.

Anybody here have a RECENT Mexico/Cancun visit accompanied by thier drone? Please share! I don't want to get my drone confiscated so trying to see if anybody has brought theirs RECENTLY. Thanks!

Is there a way to check battery firmwares???

I don't know why people can't just be careful. Like FFS, you're flying around a $1400 (usd) or $1600 (cad) machine. Don't be a ******* and take stupid risks like not updating the batteries all at once. Also don't trust your data network to be stable enough to not fail half way thru a download...

Best way to do it. Update drone, rc and batteries BEFORE you go out and all at once. Saves time and last thing you want before taking off is that "mismatch firmware" popup.

Download DJI assistant, use your PC. Also make sure everything is above 50 percent battery. Also, try using your data network (only if you've got plenty of data to spare)

Updating now. NFZ Updated, Mavic Pro and Controller updating now. Will test flight later today.

I've had my new Mavic for just under a week now. Best purchase I've ever made. Along with the Fly More Combo Mavic, I ordered a landing pad, landing gear, and a tablet mount for my Mavic RC.

I understand that but the way you worded your response, almost sounded like you were stating OP missed to include your link as part of the PASSED rules. Regardless, I can't wait to have more freedom flying my drone. Hopefully the insurance isn't as much as that article states...

Drone and Controller firmware can be updated via the DJI GO APP.
