I'm also hoping for an aftermarket app that can fly waypoints without the remote controller sending signals (e.g. virtual sticks?). Or hoping to see DJI done competitors offer the capability (with all else being the same).
Is there something the current model isn't doing very well? Perhaps memory or processor limited?
If not, then there's probably not going to be a real "upgrade" that anyone would really boast about, therefore wouldn't be produced.
Is there a good informational source that describes the different types of mission capabilities? Differences between software? Differences between drones?
I just read something from Maven about:
Autonomous flight (what is automated??)
Semi-autonomous flight (what is automatic, and what...
In Litchi, what's the difference between Litchi's Follow, Orbit, and Track mode vs. DJI's equivalent (Active Track and Point of Interest?)?
I'm considering DJI's Mini2. DJI doesn't offer Active Track or POI.
Is Litchi just as good?
Better?
Not as good?
Is DJI the only consumer drone manufacturer to offer a SDK for 3rd parts apps such as Litchi/Dronelink?
Really wish for all the same software functionality of the Mavic2 in the Air2; don't want to spend the extra $500 on Mavic2. So is there good competition?
I'm concerned if there's not enough...
I'm not buying into DJI Mini2 because:
No FocusTrack (Active Track, Spotlight, POI).
No Waypoints.
No SmartController
No Litchi.
If/when the SDK comes out, waypoints virtual sticks might be a huge disappointment.
If it doesn't achieve your mission, I wouldn't buy anything now, and wait until...
Need help deciding between Mavic 2 Pro versus Mavic 2 Zoom...
When flying, I want to get close-up video WITHOUT any noise that will be heard by humans.
I'm looking for test video/images between DJI Mavic 2 Pro vs. Zoom comparing at minimum height that cannot be heard by humans:
Comparison 1...
