I’m having the exact same issue with my Mavic mini, when using an iPhone XS Max, a 7, and a 6S. I also have a Mavic2 Pro and with that system using the GO4 app I have no issues with the orientation compass. Works perfectly. Seems to be related to the Mini controller/ system.

Not a bad idea. But I don’t think the Go Fly app is referencing the phone compass. Could be wrong. Thanks!

Exactly. I’ve been flying drones a long time now, I’m always monitoring that feature in the GO4 app. I understand fully that the full size map exists and can be used, however, the quick reference orientation feature should be functional. I’m hopeful it’ll be resolved in an update.

I’m not, I’m using one of two iPhones... a XS max or a 7 Plus. Both have the same issue.

The app has full authority to use the gps. Hmmm... that’s not the problem either. Thanks tho!
