another nice spot would be up the Interstate 10 @ Desert Center looking west. This will give you a nice view of the entire Coachella Valley at sunset with the San Jacinto MountAins as your back drop. Palm Springs @ Indian/Interstate 10 - this will give you a nice backdrop of the windmills
