Thanks I didn't realize that had changed. I hadn't flown in a while due to my schedule and the last couple of times I tried it wouldn't let me. I will try this weekend and see how what happens.

I use a Samsung Tab A and it works fine for me. It is lighter to me than the Ipad Mini but both are good. I've used my iPhone but to me the bigger the better! I need to see where I'm flying. :)

Frys is a good place to look as well.

Sometimes I get that and sometimes I don't which is why I said "hit or miss" because even when I check that, and it says "go fly" as soon as I do that all of a sudden I get the "you ain't going no where" error message. :) I know that is not exactly what it says but that's what I feel when I get...

Amazing flying! Scared me a bit but I hope to be able to fly like that some day.

I have flown in the San Pedro/Palos Verdes area without a problem and I know there are near the Rose Bowl in Pasadena that I have seen people fly.

I live next to an airport and have flown inside my house before but it seems hit or miss. Sometimes the restrictions keep me from flying and sometimes it doesn't, even though I am inside. Is there a way to get around that since I am indoors or does it matter since you are not supposed to fly...

The Mavic Air is my fave so far. I also have Spark and Phantom.

I'm an avid cruiser (mostly Royal Carribean) and have never had an issue. You cannot fly on the ship but can definitely take on to the ports. Make sure you comply with the country's drone laws.
