Using the autel explorer app, I presume? lets the CS talk to the evo controller? Well....that is non-dji, but I was thinking on the terms of your own build quad, or plane maybe. I was thinking more on the terms of a runcam, gopro, moebius...etc but it looks like it can be done?

I have ..... mavic pro. Got it a coupla months ago. used +/- a few dozen flights crystalsky 7 UB. Got it a few weeks ago. Used it maybe a dozen times. Never had the disconnect until a few evenings ago. mavic mount (stock photo) Definitely not a lot of flight time, but have done enough...

Is there someway to get the CS going on non DJI devices? I think it would be highly unlikely, and be a major, if not unrealistic mod. I've only had one a few weeks, and it is very sweet. Would love to use it for other birds.

SWEEET! that was the ticket! dirk, yours didnt quite look like mine, so i did a reset. that turned off vid captions, overexp warning, and long exp auto preview. that did it! thank you for the welcome! and all the input! yes.... the manual. since its just a "users manual" I guess they just...
