Received mine Monday after the event --WOW great job DJI!! OK, have only had one opp to fly this thing and it is impressive! I had no issues, amazing quad! I do feel that now I can sell both my MP Polar White and Mavic Air --this one replaces both!

YES,apparently some of the first versions of the Air had motherboard issues. DJI sent me new one and works great! My first one was a lemon

WELL, short-lived success! Cant hold connection at the park I went too. My Spark and Pro fly just great at this location, HECK even my Karma has a decent range here so it's not location issue for me. The AIR has issues. Hoping the new update that just came out will fix!

YES, but here is an update after talking to DJI. They told me to use DJI Assist INSTEAD of DJIGO to update the firmware so I did a REFRESH from DJI Assist. Just had a successful 10 minute flight going up to 300ft high and about 300 ft away with no transmission issues. So hoping problem fixed but...

I had a similar experience in m]y FIRST flight, however, ran out of time and have not rebooted to check for update. BUT my symptoms were exactly as yours. Stressed me a little being that it was first flight and lost connection. I didn't even go about 30ft or further than 50 ft. Good to hear...

I have thought about this same thing ---was looking for a media console that would work as a place for charging, keeping up with misc parts and displaying my copters. I currently own a Mavic, Spark, Karma & 3DR Solo, plus several toy quads, and like you potentially may draw inspiration to fly...

I own a Mavic, SOLO and Karma and ordered Spark Combo --- all have different strengths but I can see taking my Mavic and Spark everywhere. Here is a big PLUS for Spark --- its much less intimidating. Think about being at a park or somewhere with a lot of people. The Spark is not threatening...
