I'm confused on the Mavic Air's use of wifi over radio signals and why people prefer the latter?

I watched the videos it seems awkward. No way would I pay more than I would not pay for it it seems wrong. I just can't wrap my head around understanding why you would want this controller- JDAGREEK

SanDisk Extreme Plus; what's A1 or A2 mean, and XC 1 or HC 1?
I don't link SanDisk I prefer Samsung from Amazon the SanDisk seem to be confusing on their model numbers and sometimes they are counterfeits. The Samsung are less expensive than SanDisk also and preform just as good if not better. -

People talking about Apple only thing different is usually dji updates the apple app sooner talking about weeks no big deal if you use Samsung stick with Android why not? -
