I hear people say to make sure the RE are manufactured after 2018 Feb or 2019 Feb so you don't run into the disconnecting error DJI won't fix for the m2p or zoom. How cam you find out the date? Does the box say it?
I like the mini, but the no sensors killed it for me. I let family fly it and the sensors have saved it many times. With the mini..... I can't give it to anyone.
Hey, what are your thoughts on the RE? I am torn in which to buy. I like the RE due to the 50ms lag. But I am hearing nightmarish stories on the range being as low as 100 feet. Have you noticed any distance issues? And can you really tell the different in between the 110ms white goggles and 50ms RE?
Woah killa, great job. Good breakdown. Seems like there is a major hardware flaw with the system since software would have been fixed long ago I think. Any idea if the white goggles act the same or just the RE? One more question, how would anyone go about knowing or asking for a 2019 build date...
Reviving this thread. Is the problem still existant with m2z or the m2p? Or does attaching the antenna actually work? Pretty close in buying these but not too sure since lots of complaints. Also, does anyone know if the occusync on the RE is actually 50ms or 110ms like the white googles?
Ahh Ok. I personally can notice between 110ms and 50ms. It's why I ask. Can't seem to find a clear answer anywhere. I'm suspection the 50ms is for the 2.4 and 5.8ghz bands only and ocusync is like the white Google's 110ms.
If anyone else can confirm this, please do.
Viking, no idea about the latency question? I'm aware it Racing Edition and designed with a low latency of about 50ms, but it doesn't specify if it's the 2.4/5.8ghz only or is the ocusync included? That might be the deal breaker for me.
Any input? Also if anybody that knows about the specs I would really love a good answer on the latency on both. Are both 110ms through ocusync and the RE 50ms on the other bands?
