I do too. When my first Pixel 3 couldn't fly the drone, I bought an iPad mini! I prefer the iPad mini but it's nice to have the phone too for portability.

Bummer! I don’t know if I should regret my iPad mini purchase. There seems to be not many good android tablets that can fly or work with the DJI Fly app. And I’d have to spend $600 to get out of my phone contract to purchase a new android phone that would work. Or if I purchased an iPad mini...

So my google pixel 3 with android 11 will not open the DJI Fly app. So I bought an iPad mini and I’m waiting for a longer connection cable ordered through Amazon. If I tether my iPad mini using my Google pixel hotspot when I get GPS coordinates?

Ugh. I know the feeling. Had mine for two days and let too many people fly it and almost everybody crashed it and one of the legs ended up snapping. Luckily had the DJI Care Refresh and got a replacement back in two weeks
